I built Zloop because I wanted phones to feel more alive and emotional instead of just being static tools. Most AI assistants are functional, but they don’t feel like they have a personality. I wanted to create something fun, expressive, and interactive — almost like a tiny digital creature living on your screen. Zloop reacts to what you do, changes moods, talks back, gives random compliments, and creates an emotional connection with the user. The idea was inspired by how people already treat virtual pets, game companions, and AI characters like real personalities. I also wanted to experiment technically with overlays, voice interaction, wake words, accessibility services, and real-time app-based reactions — while keeping everything privacy-focused and fully on-device. So overall, Zloop is a mix of AI personality, entertainment, and creative Android engineering.
