In an era where social media usage among young people is increasingly being regulated and scrutinized, I found myself reflecting on the true purpose of digital connection. While digital platforms often create noise and division, I wanted to create a space that fosters genuine, meaningful connections among real-life friends. This is why I developed Study Circle. My vision for Study Circle is to provide a sanctuary where students can feel supported and connected, even when they are physically apart. By bringing the collaborative spirit of a library study room into the digital space, the app serves as a bridge, allowing friends to share their academic journeys and encouragement in a safe, intentional environment. I believe that education is a fundamental right and that access to tools for growth should be equitable. Therefore, I made a firm decision to keep Study Circle free. I want to ensure that no student is held back from their potential due to paywalls or subscription barriers. Studying can be a demanding and often lonely endeavor. My hope is that Study Circle transforms those challenging hours into a shared, enjoyable experience. I want every user to feel the warmth of their friendships as they strive toward their goals together, knowing that they are never studying alone.
