The Story of GSM Signal Monitor & SIM Info

I built GSM Signal Monitor back in 2014 because of a personal need while hiking. I wanted to know immediately when I was out of GSM coverage, instead of discovering it later when I needed to make a call or receive an important message. That simple outdoor problem became an Android utility that monitors signal strength and alerts users when they enter a no-signal or low-signal area. Over time, it grew to include configurable voice, vibration, ringtone, and screen notifications, alerts when signal is restored, mobile data loss and roaming notifications, signal event logs, and detailed SIM card information such as operator, network type, ICCID, IMSI, phone number, and voicemail number. It is built for hikers, travelers, people living or working in weak coverage areas, and anyone who wants to stay aware of their mobile connection.
