RenewalKit started from a simple, real problem — important documents expire silently, and most people only realize it when it’s already too late. After seeing how often renewals are missed — passports, licenses, insurance — I set out to build something radically simpler and more trustworthy. No accounts, no servers, no data collection. RenewalKit uses on-device intelligence to read expiration dates instantly, without ever storing images or text. Everything stays on your device. Private, offline, and under your control. The goal was clear: create a tool that does one thing exceptionally well — make sure you never miss an expiration again.
