Cocktail bar started as a Java game created years a go as an exploration into game development allowing the user to make all kinds of cocktail recipes using the games comprehensive set of ingredients. It was then converted to an Android app allowing players a chance to step behind the virtual bar and try to build cocktails for demanding customers to complete themed challenges. Each challenge in the game offers a unique bar style theme and set of themed recipes so the player can make fun recipes for each theme e.g. Spy Games challenge contains classic, real recipes such as From Russian With Love, Double Agent and Shadow Agent. A user gets to use highball, old fashioned, shot and martini glasses as well as classic garnishes such as mint, oranges, lemons, limes, cherries and olives. The ingredient list has most things a cocktail mixologist would need including rarities such as Absinthe, Falernum and Advocaat. There game ships with Classic Challenge for free and limited Free Play options including a Creator mode allowing the user to make their own recipes and test them on customers. Other challenges, themes and Ranked Mode are purchasable from inside the game store to extend the game play further. Crucially it contains no ads, no pay to win monetisation and crucially offers a lot of gameplay for free.
