We didn’t set out to build an app. We were just trying to fix a problem we couldn’t ignore anymore. Every day looked the same. You open your phone for “just a second” — to check a message, reply to something, maybe look up one thing — and suddenly 20, 30, 60 minutes are gone. Not even spent on anything meaningful. Just endless scrolling. Reels. Shorts. Feeds that never end. It wasn’t relaxing. It wasn’t intentional. It just… happened. And the worst part? We were fully aware of it. We tried everything people usually suggest — deleting apps, setting limits in system settings, turning off notifications. Nothing really worked. Either it was too easy to bypass, or it was too strict and unrealistic, so we’d just disable it altogether. That’s when we realized: the problem isn’t access. It’s automatic behavior. We don’t open social media because we consciously choose to. We open it because it’s a habit — fast, unconscious, effortless. So instead of blocking apps completely, we asked a different question: What if we could interrupt the habit — just for a moment — and make the action intentional? That’s how the app was born. When you try to open a distracting app, we don’t just block it. We pause you. A simple moment where you have to decide: “Do I actually want to open this right now?” Then we let you set a session — 5, 10, 15 minutes — whatever makes sense. You’re still free to use the app. But now it’s a conscious choice, with a boundary. And for those times when it’s not the whole app that’s the problem — just the endless short-form content — we went even further. You can block only the addictive parts: Reels, Shorts, infinite scroll loops. So you can still use Instagram or YouTube — message friends, watch something you chose — without falling into the trap. Because the goal was never to eliminate technology. It was to give control back. We built this app for ourselves. Because we were tired of losing time without even noticing.
