The Story of All My Seconds – Timer Widget
I created All My Seconds because I wanted a countdown widget that could show seconds moving in real time, directly on the Android home screen.
For me, seeing the seconds pass is not just a technical detail. It changes the way you feel time. It makes progress visible, more concrete, and more motivating. That is why I see AMS as a psychological timer widget: a simple tool that can help you stay focused, resist, wait, recover, train, fast, cook, or complete any time-based challenge.
We look at our phones many times during the day, so I did not want users to open an app every time just to check a countdown. I wanted the timer to live where people already look: on the home screen, with clear seconds, simple controls, and very low battery impact.
The goal was to create a countdown timer that feels immediate, useful, and always visible — with control from notifications and the lock screen when needed.
All My Seconds was built around one simple idea: when you can see every second, every second matters.
